Fixed! Japanese fonts in Chrome as boxes.

After installing a million font packs, removing chrome, removing settings, reinstalling, upgrading my system to Fedora 13 pre-alpha, to no effect I started reading the bug list on the google chrome project site.

Guess what, it's the damn Droid font packages:

$ rpm -qa |grep droid
google-droid-serif-fonts-20090906-5.fc12.noarch
google-droid-fonts-common-20090906-5.fc12.noarch
google-droid-sans-fonts-20090906-5.fc12.noarch
$ sudo rpm -e google-droid-serif-fonts-20090906-5.fc12.noarch google-droid-fonts-common-20090906-5.fc12.noarch google-droid-sans-fonts-20090906-5.fc12.noarch

And we're fixed!
